Are your clients looking for a weekend break somewhere? With thousands of hotels to choose from, Expedia can inspire them when they’re ready to get away.

With qualifying insurance plans, they could get up to 20% off on up to four hotel bookings every year. With qualifying investment plans, clients could get 10% off on up to four hotel bookings every year.

By getting active and tracking their activity, your clients can earn their Vitality status. The higher their status, the bigger the reward with Expedia.

The Expedia discount will apply to the first £750 spend before taxes and charges. Bookings must be made from 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2021 for travel from 1 September 2020 and 28 February 2022 inclusive. These dates will be reviewed annually.

How does it work?

  • one-symbol

    As soon as your client has an eligible plan, all they need to do is start tracking physical or mindful activities

  • two-symbol

    Once they start earning activity points, they'll achieve a Vitality status. The more Vitality points they earn, the higher their Vitality status

  • three-symbol

    When your client is ready to book with Expedia, they can log into Member Zone to apply their discount to their booking.

Does my client need to earn Vitality points to qualify for the Expedia discount?

No, but the higher your client's Vitality status, the better their Expedia discount will be.

Why is it important to have travel flexibility?

We don't want your clients to be left without options. Situations around the world change quickly, and sometimes that means postponing our travel plans or changing them. As long as your clients make sure that they book with the option to cancel, they’ll be protecting their wallet.

What plans are eligible for the Expedia hotel discount?

Your clients can save 10% on up to four hotel bookings with Expedia if they have one of the following plans:
  • Any corporate healthcare plan or healthcare trust without Vitality Plus
  • A Vitality at Work plan
  • Any life insurance plan with Vitality Select
  • All VitalityInvest plans.
These plans get 10% off one booking each plan year on Bronze Vitality status, two bookings each plan year on Silver Vitality status, three bookings each plan year on Gold Vitality status or four bookings each plan year on Platinum status.

Your clients can save up to 20% on four hotel bookings with Expedia if they have one of the following plans:
  • Any personal or business health insurance plan, excluding members with Vitality at Work; or a corporate health insurance plan or healthcare trust with Vitality Plus
  • Any life insurance plan with Vitality Plus.
These plans get four bookings each plan year and 10% off on Bronze Vitality status, 12% off on Silver Vitality status, 15% off on Gold Vitality status and 20% off on Platinum status.

Flexibility matters.

It's always a good idea to ensure that you can make changes to your travel plans, just in case. Your clients can find a great selection of hotels offering free cancellation up to 24 hours before their trip. We recommend confirming the exact cancellation window on the selected hotel's details page. Look for options marked ‘Free Cancellation’.

The Expedia reward is available with pre-paid hotels only. Pay-at-the-property hotels are not included. Your clients discount will be applied to the best available rate and after any Expedia discounts have been applied.

Important Information

The Expedia Discount will apply to the first £750 spend before taxes and charges.

Your clients must make bookings in the agreed redemption period: 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2021. This is for the travel period between 1 September 2020 and 28 February 2022 inclusive. These dates will be reviewed annually. The discount coupons currently available are valid for bookings up to 28 February 2022.
