How Vitality Care can help
When a member has a complex or ongoing claim, such as cancer, mental health or cardiac health conditions, Vitality’s Care Consultants are on hand to explain any part of your client’s plan, helping both them and their family.
Vitality’s Care Consultants help members get the best from their plan - whether it's a faster diagnosis or providing access to the latest drugs and treatments, subject to the benefits included on your client’s plan and their hospital list.
Who is on the team?
Vitality Care is a doctor-led service made up of understanding individuals who are empathetic towards patient’s requirements. Vitality’s Care Consultants are on hand to help members understand the advice they’ve been given.

Treatment

The Vitality Care Consultant will make sure your client has access to the best available medical care and treatment, within the terms and conditions of their plan. This includes leading private hospitals in the UK and thousands of clinical specialists.

Support

We’ll give your client their own dedicated Care Consultant, a direct point of contact in the Vitality Care team. You client’s Care Consultant will understand their situation and provide support for them and their family through what can be a difficult time. Each member’s Care Consultant will be with them throughout their treatment journey.

Ongoing

Once active treatment is complete, the claim will be passed back to our Customer Services Division to manage any ongoing follow-up care. If the condition progresses to a stage where cover will no longer be available, the adviser will be able to support and assist during this difficult time and discuss continuing care options.
Vitality Care at Champneys
Following treatment, breast cancer patients will be offered a place on a group-based retreat at the Champneys resort in Tring, Hertfordshire. Champneys Tring resort is an outstanding health resort in the heart of Hertfordshire, steeped in history, set in 170 acres of rolling parkland.
- Relax– an overnight stay and two full days access to spa facilities.
- Recover – group-based and one-on-one consultations to help manage the psychological, physical and emotional side effects that often come with treatment and recovery.
- Support – as a group-based retreat, your clients will receive the support of other patients who also know what it is to experience a similar journey.
